Adviser Jahangir attends 'World Food Forum 2025' in Rome

ROME, ITALY, Oct 15, 2025 (BSS) – A Bangladesh delegation led by Agriculture and Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has participated in the World Food Forum 2025 in Rome, Italy.

The delegation also includes Agriculture Secretary Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian and Additional Secretary (PPC Wing) Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman.

The delegation will take part in various sessions of the forum, sharing Bangladesh’s experiences on agriculture, food and nutrition security and engaging in dialogue with other member states.

During the visit, the adviser is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Italy’s Interior Minister.

The World Food Forum, organized at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Rome, began on October 10 and will continue till October 17.
