Barishal board sees 62.57 pc pass rate in HSC results

BARISHAL, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) – Barishal Education Board witnessed 62.57 percent pass rate in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. 

This year, 1,674 students got GPA-5 including 1,274 female and 457 male. 

Girl students have maintained outstanding performance as they outperformed their male peers in terms of both success rate and GPA-5.  

Last year, the Barishal Education Board's pass rate was 81.85 percent.  As many as  4,167 students got GPA-5. 

Board Chairman Md. Yunus Ali Siddiqui announced the results at the Education Board's hall room around 10 am.

He said that this year, a total of 61,481 students, including 28,994 boys and 32,487 girls, appeared in the HSC exams under the board, according to the HSC results published here today.
