587 HSC students of cadet colleges get GPA-5

DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS)- A total of 587 students out of 589 appeared from 12 cadet colleges in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations this year scored GPA-5, according to a release issued by the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR).

It said students from all 12 cadet colleges achieved 100 percent pass with 99.66 percent of candidates achieving the highest grade. 

Country’s cadet college students also showed the same talent in 2024 examination with scoring GPA-5 scorers by 99.66 percent student.

Bangladesh's cadet colleges are residential institutions run under the supervision of the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army and chairman of the cadet college governing body. 

The goal of the cadet colleges is not only to achieve good results, but also to develop cadets as smart and good citizens, the release said. 

In view of this, equal importance is given to improve moral character and extra-curriculum activities in the daily activities of the cadets, it added. 

Internal well-disciplined environment, perseverance, regular study of the cadets along with sincere efforts of the college authorities helped achieving the success, the release said.
