DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - The attachment order of 123 students of Syeda Zohra Tajuddin Nursing College in Kapasia, Gazipur, has been cancelled.

“They (students) have been instructed to join their respective workplaces,” according to an official order issued by the Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery here yesterday.

Deputy director (education and discipline) Momtaz Begum signed the office order saying that a total of 123 students, including 62 of Bachelor of Science in Post Basic Nursing course and 61 of Bachelor of Science in Post Basic Public Health Nursing course of the 2022-23 academic year, were given a 2-year affiliation order with Syeda Zohra Tajuddin Nursing College, Kapasia, Gazipur.

It said as the final examination of the 2nd year of those students was completed on September 27, the letter has been sent to the directorate for cancelling the attachment order of 123 students and allowing them to join their main workplaces.

The officer order, however, asked all students to join their respective workplaces by October 19 after receiving discharge from the nursing college.
