DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - National Consensus Commission Vice President Prof. Ali Riaz today said the commission will submit clear, definite, and comprehensive recommendations for implementing the July National Charter 2025 to the government by the extended deadline of October 31.

Prof. Ali Riaz made the remarks while addressing a press briefing on preparations for the July National Charter 2025 signing ceremony, scheduled to be held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban tomorrow. 

He said the commission will continue its best efforts to implement the recommendations. The government will start the implementation process within the stipulated time through concrete steps, ensuring participation of all stakeholders.

Ali Riaz added that the people's long-standing expectation of democracy and state reform had faced many impediments, but the aspirations realized through citizen struggle have been partially reflected in the July Charter.
