DMP files 4581 cases for traffic law violations past 3-day

DHAKA, Oct 18, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 4,581 cases after conducting operations against 
traffic law violators in different areas of the capital Dhaka in the last three days.

According to the DMP's Traffic Division, police conducted drives in different areas of the capital on October 15 and filed 1,720 cases, dumped 343 vehicles, and wrecked 62 others.

On 16, the DMP's Traffic Division filed 2,008 cases, dumped 340 vehicles and wrecked 94 others.

And on Friday (October 17), the DMP's Traffic Division conducted operations in different areas of the capital and filed 853 cases and dumped 209 vehicles 
and wrecked 59 others.

The DMP Traffic Division's has vowed to continue campaign to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka Metropolitan area.
