DHAKA, Oct 22, 2025(BSS) - A team of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested a father and his son from Khagrachhari for their alleged involvement in the killing of a young man at Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj district.

The arrestees are - Al Mahbub(37), son of Dil Mohammad and Dil Mohammad (67), son of late Hashem of Maruadi village under Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj district. The arrested persons are father and son, police said.

The PBI team led by Sub-Inspector Reaz Uddin Rony, also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case produced them before the court and prayed for granting their seven days remand in connection with the murder. 

The court after hearing the petition of the prosecution granted their four days police remand.
