DHAKA, Oct 30, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast rain or thunder showers at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions in the next 24 hours beginning from 9:00 am today.

“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions,” said morning bulletin of BMD.

BMD also predicted that at many places over Dhaka, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions may experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfalls at places.

Day temperature may fall by 1 to 2 degree Celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, it said.

The Deep Depression over Andhra Pradesh and adjoining area, weakened into a Depression over Chhattisgarh and adjoining first, then into a well-marked over the same area at 06 AM today (30 October, 2025). It is likely to move northwards and weaken into a low-pressure area, BMD said.

Highest 35.8 degrees Celsius temperature was recorded in Ramgati yesterday while the lowest temperature was today 22.0 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:21 pm today and will rise at 6:04 am tomorrow.
