France to boost energy, transport cooperation with Bangladesh

DHAKA, Nov 23, 2025 (BSS) – French Ambassador in Dhaka Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet today expressed keen interest in strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh to support the country’s energy transition and develop an integrated multimodal transport system as he called on energy and road transport adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan.

“On this occasion (call on) the French Ambassador expressed France’s interest in strengthening cooperation to support the energy transition and the development of an integrated multimodal system in Bangladesh,” a French embassy statement said.

It said the envoy also discussed with the adviser about the ongoing bilateral projects in the power and transportation sectors implemented by the French Development Agency.

The adviser and the envoy also exchanged views on expanding future collaboration in areas aligned with Bangladesh’s development priorities.
