Online registration for JU first-year honours admission test begins

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) today began online registration process for the first-year honours admission test for the 2025-2026 academic session.

JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr.Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan formally inaugurated the registration at 4:30 pm in the council room of the administrative building, said a press release, signed by JU’s acting Director of Public Relations Office, Mohammad Mahiuddin this evening. 

JU VC urged all officials concerned to ensure smooth technical support so that admission aspirants can complete their registration without any hassle.

According to the admission authorities, the admission seekers may register online till 11:59 pm on December 7, 2025.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr M Mahfuzur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Sohel Ahmed, Treasurer Professor Dr M Abdur Rab, faculty deans, institute directors, acting Registrar A B M Azizur Rahman, and other officials were present at the inaugural event.

The Institute of Information Technology (IIT), which is responsible for managing the registration system, has completed all necessary preparations to conduct the process smoothly. 

IIT Director Professor Dr. Risala Tasnim Khan said that the system is fully prepared to ensure a seamless experience for all applicants.
