RAJSHAHI, Nov 23, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi University (RU) authorities decided to take necessary precautionary measures following an assessment of earthquake-related risks in its residential halls.

The decision came at an emergency meeting held today with Vice-Chancellor Prof Saleh Hassan Naquib in the chair.

Pro-Vice Chancellors Prof Mayeen Uddin and Prof Farid Uddin Khan, Registrar Prof Mahbubur Rahman and Students' Adviser Prof Amirul Islam attended the meeting, along with leaders of RUCSU and hall councils.
