EME corps holds annual commanders conference 2025

DHAKA, Nov 25, 2025 (BSS) - The Annual Commanders Conference-2025 of the EME Corps was held today at the EME Center and School (EMEC&S) in Syedpur Cantonment.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman attended the conference as the chief guest, according to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in the evening.

Upon arrival, the Army Chief was received by the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Colonel Commandant of the EME Corps and Chairman of REB, the GOC of the 66 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Rangpur Area and the Commandant of EMEC&S.

General Waker-uz-Zaman gave several directives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the EME Corps and the Bangladesh Army, urging unit commanders and officers to continue efforts toward modernization and organizational development.

Highlighting the proud legacy and longstanding contributions of the EME Corps to the nation, he called on its members to prepare for the challenges of the 21st century by embracing modern and advanced training. He expressed hope that every member of the Corps would set an exemplary standard of service in the days ahead.

The event was attended by senior military officials, including the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Colonel Commandant of EME Corps and REB Chairman, the Army's Master General of the Ordnance, the Adjutant General, the GOC 66 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Rangpur Area, senior officers from Army Headquarters and Rangpur Area, the Commandant of EMEC&S, commanders of all EME units and media representatives.
