DHAKA, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) - In a major crackdown on illegal weapons and criminal activities, police have arrested 1,083 individuals over the past 24 hours. 

During the operations, the police officials seized a shotgun, five foreign-made pistols, two revolvers, and ammunitions, according to a Police Headquarters statement.

The arrests were made during targeted raids and routine patrols conducted across multiple regions. 

Authorities say the seized weapons are being examined to determine their origins and possible links to recent criminal incidents.
