DHAKA, Dec 03, 2025 (BSS) – Registration of expatriate voters through the 'Postal Vote BD' app, developed for voting from abroad in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections, will continue until December 25.

“Government employees who cannot vote at their own centres can also register through the ‘Postal Vote BD’ app,” a spokesman of the Bangladesh Election Commission said today.

Those who have not registered yet have been asked to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe.

He said those staying in the country have also been urged to encourage their relatives living abroad to register through the ‘Postal Vote BD’ app and exercise their voting rights.

Earlier, the ‘Postal Vote BD’ app was launched on November 18.

As per the rules, if anyone wants to receive postal ballots by mail, expatriate Bangladeshis must provide the correct address of their home.

“If necessary, it is advised to use the address of a friend or relative or the address of a nearby well-known institution or building,” the EC official added.
