DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) – The government has deployed Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at various important places in the capital to maintain law and order ahead of the arrival of slain political activist Sharif Osman Hadi's body from Singapore.

In a statement issued on Friday, the BGB announced the deployment of troopers in the airport area, Karwan Bazar, the Hotel InterContinental area and other important points across the city.
