DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has postponed its workshop titled "Plan to Build the Country", scheduled to be held in 300 constituencies ahead of the 2026 February polls.

The information was unveiled here today in a press release signed by JCD's office secretary M Jahangir Alam.

The workshop titled "Plan to Build the Country" was scheduled to be held for grassroot Chhatra Dal leaders of 300 constituencies across the country ahead of the upcoming national elections, said the release.

But the workshop has been postponed temporarily due to unavoidable reasons until further notice, it said.

Meanwhile, all central leaders have been instructed to stay in the capital until further notice, citing necessity of their engagement in preparations to receive BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, expected to return home on December 15.
