DHAKA, Dec 23, 2025 (BSS) - Primary and Mass Education Ministry has issued an order upgrading the existing pay scale of headmasters of government primary schools to grade 10 in accordance with the National Pay Scale 2015. 

A total of 65,502 headmasters will get salary under the 10th grade, said a press release of the ministry today.

According to the order, those headmasters who are untrained must complete the Basic Training for Primary Teachers (BTPT) within 18 months from the date of issuance of the government order to get the grade.
