21 arrested in day-long special operation at Uttara

DHAKA, Dec 23, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested 21 people in a day-long special operation conducted across different areas under Uttara West Police Station in the capital.

According to a police press release, the operation was carried out on Tuesday targeting individuals involved in various criminal activities.

Those arrested include accused in regular cases, warrant-listed offenders, and suspects involved in drug-related crimes.

The arrested individuals are: Md. Rafi (22), Md. Abdullah (21), Kabya Rahman (19), Md. Al Amin (26), Md. Al Amin alias Danger Al Amin (25), Abrar Abedin Khan (21), Md. Ashraf Ali (26), Md. Mahim Dewan (19), Md. Johnny (19), Md. Abul Hasan (20), Md. Mamun (35), Md. Parvez (33), Md. Jisan (20), Md. Mosharraf Hossain (27), Rabayat Islam (23), Md. Nahid (26), Md. Ekramul Haque Samrat (26), Sijan (20), Taskim Khan (21), Md. Riyad Khan (21), and Shri Amulya Ravi Das (45).

During the operation, police seized heroin, one bottle of liquor, three packets of Yaba tablets, and one stolen LINNEX brand mobile phone from the possession of the arrested persons.

Uttara West Police Station officials stated that such special operations will continue in the future to ensure law and order and maintain public safety in the area.
