RAJSHAHI, Jan 17, 2026 (BSS)- Intake test for A unit in the first year honour courses in 2025-2026 academic year at Rajshahi University (RU) was held successfully today with attendance of 90.66 percent.
The admission test was held in two shifts, one from 11am to 12 noon and another from 3pm to 4pm.
After visiting some of the rooms of the tests, RU Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Saleh Hassan Naquib briefed the media about today's test in front of Dean's complex.
This year, 2,72,626 students are appearing in the test for 4,017 seats in 59 Departments under 10 faculties and two institutes. On an average, 67 students are vying for each seat.
The entry tests have been held in A, B and C units since Friday last.
A total of 1,04,730 students appeared in the test under A unit consisting of RU's 27 departments belonging to arts, law, social science, and fine arts faculties and the Institute of Education and Research.
Besides, 'B' unit test will be held on January 24 from 11am to 12 noon.
The test is also being held in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Rangpur and Barishal apart from RU for the convenience of the students and the guardians.
