Displaying government-fixed fees for land services directed

DHAKA, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS) - The Ministry of Land has issued directives to all deputy commissioners to display the government-fixed fees for land services through permanent signboards.

The signboard should be measured 4 feet by 2.5 feet in visible places at upazila/circle land offices and union/municipal land offices, said a PID release today.

The fixed fees for mutation (namjari) are: court fee Tk 20, notice issuance fee Tk 50, record correction or updating fee Tk 1,000, and fee for supplying each copy of khatian Tk 100, making the total fee Tk 1,170.

The fixed fees for khatian are: certified copy or online copy Tk 120, and an additional postal charge of Tk 40 will be applicable if received by post.

The fixed fees for mouza maps are: Tk 545 per sheet, and an additional postal charge of Tk 110 will be applicable if received by post. 

No fee other than the fixed fees will be applicable.

All land services, including land development tax, must be paid online only. Citizens have been requested not to make any cash transactions.

Complaints can be lodged by calling 16122 if any additional fees are demanded.
