Hasan, Zahidul and Suzauddoula made PM's DPS

DHAKA, March 2, 2026 (BSS) - Three Deputy Press Secretaries (DPS) to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman have been appointed on contractual basis on Grade-4 of the government pay scale. 

The Public Administration Ministry has issued three separate gazette notifications to this end today signed by Deputy Secretary Md Golam Rabbani.

Mostafa Zulfikar Hasan, Md Zahidul Islam and Md Suzauddoula have been appointed as the prime minister's deputy press secretaries, the notification said.

It mentioned that they will remain in office for the duration of the Prime Minister's term or subject to his satisfaction from the date of their joining on condition of relinquishing relations with other institutions and organisations.

Other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined by the contract agreement, it said.

The orders, issued in the sake of public interest, will come into immediate effect.
