DHAKA, March 29, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9am. 

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions," a Met office bulletin said. 

Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.

The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded at 33.8 degrees Celsius in Bandarban and today's minimum temperature was recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius in Sylhet. 

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:13 pm today and rise at 5:53 am tomorrow.
