Govt operates 293 mobile courts in 62 districts to monitor fuel situation

DHAKA, March 27, 2026 (BSS) - The government has deployed a total of 293 mobile courts across 62 districts to monitor the fuel supply situation nationwide.

During these drives, 78 cases were filed, and fines amounting to Tk 315,550 were imposed.

According to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, the drive will continue to ensure a stable fuel supply and to prevent irregularities in distribution and sales.

In addition, executive magistrates from the Energy Division are conducting mobile court operations daily at various locations across Dhaka city.

The drive will also continue tomorrow in the capital and its surrounding areas.

Authorities have urged the public to report any suspected irregularities by contacting the vigilance team through designated phone numbers.
