Armed forces hold cultural programme in capital on Independence Day

DHAKA, Mar 26, 2026 (BSS) - On the occasion of celebrating the Great Independence and National Day 2026, a colorful cultural programme was organized this evening at Manik Mia Avenue under the initiative of the Bangladesh Army. 

At the event, the Armed Forces Orchestra performed patriotic and enchanting music, which generated great enthusiasm and excitement among the audience, said a press release. 

In addition, the renowned music band Warfaze added a special dimension to the programme with their energetic performance. Furthermore, the final segment featured an aesthetic fireworks display, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. 

To celebrate the spirit of independence and ensure participation from people of all walks of life, the event was kept open to everyone. 

With the spontaneous presence of a large number of spectators, the programme was successfully completed in a festive atmosphere. 

The cultural ceremony was broadcast live on Bangladesh Television, and arrangements were also made for audiences to enjoy it on giant screens at seven designated locations across the capital.
