DHAKA, April 2, 2026 (BSS) - The government has requested all not to be misled by misinformation regarding changes in public office hours.

A notification claiming changes in government office schedules and a plan to operate offices three days a week to save electricity and energy has been circulating on social media since April 1, 2026, according to a handout issued today.

However, the Ministry of Public Administration has confirmed that no such notification has been issued.

The ministry has urged all not to be confused by the misleading information, the handout added.
