Aminul off to Turkey to join OIC Youth Capital

DHAKA, May 10, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque left here for Turkey this morning to attend the inaugural ceremony of the 'Konya OIC Youth Capital 2026' to be held in Konya of Turkey and to take part in bilateral meetings.

During the visit, the State Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports. The meeting is expected to discuss in detail the youth development, construction of sports infrastructure and training exchange between the two countries.

In addition, Aminul will meet with officials of the Turkish Football Federation to further strengthen sports diplomacy. The meeting will shed light on Turkey's experience and technical assistance in the development of football in Bangladesh.
He will also meet the President of the World Ethnosport Union. 

The state minister is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on representatives of Turkey's ruling party.
He is expected to return home on May 14.
