700 char people receive free medical care in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, June 14, 2026 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) provided free medical services and distributed medicines to poor and helpless people in the remote char areas of Ashariadaha Union in Godagari Upazila, Rajshahi. 

Around 700 patients received healthcare and essential medicines at the day-long medical camp held today.
 
The camp was organised by Rajshahi Battalion-1 of the BGB on the grounds of Ashariadaha Kanapara High School. Doctors from Rajshahi Medical College examined patients and provided treatment. 

The entire program was supervised by Lieutenant Colonel Riaz Shahriar, commanding officer of Rajshahi Battalion-1 BGB.
