Army continues humanitarian assistance in flood-hit areas of Ctg

DHAKA, July 13, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Army has continued its humanitarian operations among people affected by floods in different areas of Chattogram, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release issued today.

According to the release, members of the Army's 10 Infantry Division are carrying out relief and support operations in several flood-affected areas, including Chandanaish and Lohagara upazilas of Chattogram and parts of Khagrachhari district in the Chattogram Hill Tracts.

Army personnel are distributing emergency relief materials, conducting rescue and assistance activities, and supporting affected residents in coordination with the local administration.

The 10 Infantry Division has been working relentlessly to assist the civil administration and help alleviate the suffering of flood-hit people, the ISPR said.

The humanitarian operations will continue until the situation returns to normal, the release added.
