Six Fire Service officials adorned with rank badge

DHAKA, Jan 15, 2025 (BSS) - Six officers of the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense today were adorned with rank badges as they were promoted on January 12 to district head positions in various districts across the country.  

Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense director general Brig Gen Muhammad Jahed Kamal adorned the officials with the rank badges in a ceremony at the conference room of the department, said a press release today.

Congratulating the newly promoted officers, the director general instructed everyone to discharge their respective duties honestly and efficiently.

He said that the responsible role of the district officer is very important in responding to all disasters and accidents.

Brig Gen Muhammad Jahed Kamal expressed his hope that the promoted officers will work dedicatedly to protect lives and property as well as brighten the image of this institution and the government.

The director general congratulated the promoted officers with flowers along with the directors and other senior officers.

The directors and other senior officers of the department were present at the event.

The promoted officers will serve as district heads in different districts.

The promotion notice was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Security Services Division.
