NAOGAON, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident at Bholabazar area under Manda upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as jail Palash Ali, 48, a resident of Chapainawabganj. He was working as a jail guard at the Bogra district jail. 

The accident took place around 9.30 am on the Naogaon-Rajshahi highway when a bus hit a motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving its rider Palash dead on the spot, said Sub-Inspector (SI) of Manda Police Station Ashish Kumar.
