HABIGANJ, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road crash on the Dhaka-
Sylhet highway in Madhabpur upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Syed Ashrafuzzaman Faisal, 45, son of Syed SN 
Jamal of Shyamoli area in Dhaka. He was the supervisor of Al Mobaraka 
Paribahan.

The accident occurred around 12.30 pm in Noapara Saheb Bari Gate area when a 
bus of 'Al Mobaraka Paribahan' hit the back of an oil tanker. As a result, 
the front part of the bus was twisted and its supervisor Faisal died on the 
spot. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shayestaganj Highway Police Station Abu Taher Dewan 
confirmed the incident.
