BNP hands over its proposals to Health Reform Commission

DHAKA, Feb 06, 2025 (BSS) - A six-member BNP delegation led by health affairs secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam today handed over the party’s proposals to Health Reform Commission Office at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed International Convention Center in Minto Road here.
 
BNP Deputy Health Affairs Secretary SM Rafiqul Islam Bachchu, Professor Dr. Rafiq Al Kabir Labu and Dr Parvez Reza Kakon, Deputy Planning Affairs Secretary Nazrul Islam and Nursing Affairs Secretary Jahanara Khatun were in the delegation.

Earlier on Tuesday, BNP placed an outline for the country’s health sector.

In its reform outline, BNP proposed to build a universal healthcare system in the country like UK's National Health Service (NHS) to ensure quality medical facilities for all including poor and destitute people.
