BGB seizes smuggled tablets, detains one in Chuadanga

CFUADANGA, Feb 7, 2025 (BSS) - BGB Battalion-58 detained one person along with 980 pieces of tapentadol tablets and a rickshaw van from Singnagar village of Jibannagar upazila in Chuadanga district today.

According to a press release issued by BGB Battalion-58, acting on a tip-off, a team from Utholi BOP conducted a raid in Singnagar village.

During the drive, the team successfully detained the individual and recovered the smuggled tablets, along with seizing the rickshaw and the detained person was identified as Farhan Hossain, son of Tufan Ali of Singnagar village in the upazila.

A case was filed with Jibannagar Police Station in connection with the incident.
