Army Chief joins reunion programme in Faujdarhat Cadet College

DHAKA, Feb 7, 2025 (BSS) – Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today attended the three-day reunion of the Faujdarhat Cadet College in Chattogram as the chief guest.

Today was the second day of the reunion organized by the Old Faujians Association (OFA), an organization of former cadets of Faujdarhat Cadet College, said in an ISPR press release.

Chairman of the Cadet College Governing Council Major General Md Masudur Rahman, College Principal Mahinoor Akhtar, OFA Chairman Major General Abdul Matin and invited guests welcomed the army chief at Faujdarhat Cadet College, the release added.

The army chief placed a wreath at the '71 Er Faujians', built in memory of the former brave cadets who sacrificed their lives in the great Liberation War.

Then, he received salute in a colorful parade participated by current and former cadets.

Speaking at the reunion programme, Waker-Uz-Zaman recalled the contribution of the cadets in building the country and the nation and wished the cadets a success and their further prosperity.
