MAGURA, Feb 12, 2025 (BSS)- Sreepur police here in a special drive has arrested
Upazila Matsyajibi League president from his residence in Nabogram village
under Gayeshpur Union in Sreepur upazila during "Operation Devil Hunt".

The arrested was Md. Alauddin Sheikh, also member of ward No. 3 in Gayeshpur
Union Parishad (UP).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Police Station Idris Ali said Alauddin was
arrested at around 8 in the morning for his involvement in several cases of
attacks, vandalism, shelling, and bomb blasts in Jalal area following the
change of Awami League (AL) regime.

Alauddin Sheikh has been sent to jail after completing all legal procedures,
he added.
