One held with 400 gram gold at Chattogram Airport

DHAKA, March 12, 2025 (BSS) - National Security Intelligence (NSI) members arrested a passenger of Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight with 400 grams of gold at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram today.

The arrested man was Shahin Al Mamun.

On a tip-off, a team of NSI conducted a drive at the airport around 9.30 am and arrested Sahin and recovered the gold worth about Taka 50 lakh after searching his body and bags, the Airport Customs Department sources said.

Shahin Al Mamun arrived at Chattogram Airport from Jeddah at 8:36 am by Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG-136.
