DHAKA, March 17, 2025 (BSS) -The Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court today 
permitted the chairman of Orion Group Obaidul Karim and his wife Arjuda 
Karim to go abroad.

Md Zakir Hossain Galib, Senior Special Judge of the court gave the permission 
following a petition submitted by the lawyers of the Orion Group. Assistant 
Director Aminul Islam confirmed the news to BSS.

According to the court sources, Orion Group chairman Obaidul Karim, his wife 
Arjuda Karim and daughter Jerin Karim today submitted separate petitions 
through their lawyers seeking permission to go abroad for performing Umrah Hajj 
and treatment.

Earlier, on February 17, the court imposed a travel ban on them following a 
petition filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
