Bangladesh Army defuses mortar shell in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, March 19, 2025(BSS) - A team of Bangladesh Army’s Bomb
Disposal Unit today defused a mortar shell recovered from a scrap shop in Ekrampur area of Kishoreganj city.

Kishoreganj Model Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md Tutul Uddin confirmed the matter to BSS.

After receiving a call from '999' on Tuesday night, police rushed to the shop and took it in their custody.

Being informed, the army's Bomb Disposal Unit rushed to the spot and defused the bomb around 4 pm today.
