KISHOREGANJ, June 9, 2025 (BSS)- A women was killed and her two children were injured in a road accident in Baily Bridge area on the Kishoreganj-Bhairab regional highway of Sadar upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Joynab Begum, 30, wife of Mofazzal Hossain of Belati village of Sadar upazila of Netrokona.

The accident occurred when driver of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw lost control over the steering and fell into a roadside ditch, leaving Joynab killed on the spot and injured her two children.

Locals rescued the injured and sent them to Kishoreganj 250-bed Hospital.

Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-charge Abdullah Al Mamun said the body was kept at the morgue of the hospital.
