DHAKA, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS) - The United States (US) Embassy in Dhaka has
cautioned Bangladeshi applicants that submitting false information or
fraudulent documents in visa applications could result in a permanent travel
ban to the United States.

"The US Department of State remains committed to upholding the highest
standards of national security in its visa adjudication process. No visas are
issued until all security concerns are fully resolved," the Embassy said in a
brief message on its verified Facebook page today.

It further noted that individuals who attempt to obtain visas with fake
documents are denied and may face legal consequences both under US law and in
the country where the application is submitted.

The Embassy reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on fraud, urging applicants
to provide accurate and verifiable information when applying for US visas.
