One killed in Bogura road accident

BOGURA, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident in the Teligari area on the Bogura-Naogaon Highway in Dupchachiya upazila of the district last night.


The deceased was Rafiqul Islam, 45, son of late Riaz Uddin Pramanik of Hatt Sazapur area of Dupchachia.

The accident occurred when a private car hit an auto-van in the area, leaving van driver Rafiqul dead on the spot.


Police seized the private car. However, the driver of the vehicle managed to escape the scene.


A case has been filed in this regard.
