Amu, Anisul, 5 others shown arrested in separate uprising cases

DHAKA, May 14, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today showed seven people, including Amir Hossain Amu and Anisul Huq, arrested in separate cases filed with the city's Jatrabari Police Station over different crimes committed during July-August mass uprising.

The other arrestees are Shajahan Khan, Rashed Khan Menon, Hasanul Haque Inu, Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Qazi Monirul Islam Monu.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Monirul Islam passed the order as police produced them before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in the cases. The court after that sent them back to jail.

Of the seven, Anisul Huq and Monu were shown arrested in three cases each, Menon, Inu, and Palak were shown arrested in two cases each and Shahjahan Khan was shown arrested in one case.
