Moyeen for remaining united for national interest

DHAKA, May 21, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan today called upon all to remain united for sake of the country.

He made the urge at a discussion titled "Shaheed Zia for Multi-Party Democracy and Freedom of Press" at Jatiya Press Club here.

Highlighting the life and works of Ziaur Rahman, Moyeen Khan said Zia had created this Press Club for the sake of journalists as he was the promoter of free press.

"Without freedom of press, a country cannot be democratic. We believe in free press," he said.

Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, he said, restored multi-party democracy and free press in the country.

BNP Vice-Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu spoke as the special guest at the discussion.
