DHAKA, July 7, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today ordered to attach plots and to freeze bank account, credit card and savings certificate of Gazi Hafizur Rahman Liku, former assistant private secretary (APS) of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Of the plots, which are to be attached, the 14-decimal one is situated in Gopalganj and the three-katha one is in Uttara.

The ACC in its plea said the commission has filed a case against him for amassing illegal wealth of Taka 55 lakh and keeping those under his possession.

"An officer has been appointed to investigate the case. The accused is trying to hand over or transfer the movable and immovable properties to evade justice, and these should be attached or frozen immediately," it added.
