RANGAMATI, July 11, 2025 (BSS) - The noted writer and researcher Supriyo Talukder passed away today while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chattogram. He was 76. 

Supriyo Talukder, also former director of Rangamati Minority Cultural Institute, left behind his wife, three daughters and a numerous relatives to mourn his death.

He was respected in the intellectual community of the Chittagong Hill Tracts as a poet, researcher and essayist.
