Speakers for recognizing sacrifices of July uprising youth scholars'

DHAKA, July 11, 2025 (BSS) - Speakers at a seminar here today called for honoring and evaluating the supreme sacrifice made by the religious leaders and workers of the country during the July mass uprising.

Heinous conspiracy is going on to undermine the strength of July uprising, they said.

The speakers were addressing the seminar on "contribution of youth Islamic cleric to July uprising" at Rupayan Tower at Bangla Motor here.

The representative of Islamic clerics shared their experiences in the seminar about the stormy days of July uprising while Jatiya Jubo Sakti convener Advocate Tariqul Islam chaired the function.

Jubo Sakti always stands by the July warriors, Nayeb-e-Amir of Hefazat-e Islam Allama Ahmed Ali Quasemi said. 

Highlighting the contribution of scholars to anti-dictatorship movement, Hefazat-e Islam joint secretary general Mawlana Azizul Huq Islamabadi said, "We should be vigil as no evil force would come to power in future".

Imam parishad president Abdullah Yahia, Nezam-e Islam party secretary general Musa Bin Ijhar, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish central Naib-e Amir Mufti Mahiuddin Rabbani, Jatiya Jubo Sakti Ulema representative Mawlana Idris Hossain and other representatives of different ulema society, among others, attended the function.
