CHATTOGRAM, July 12, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Md Sumon, 35, in connection with the murder of his wife in the Raufabad area under Bayezid thana in Chattogram on the night of July 9.
RAB disclosed the arrest at a press conference this morning.
RAB-7 and RAB-9, in a joint operation, detained Sumon on Friday night from the Fulbaria area of Bijoynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district.
He hails from Suyagazi village of Sadar Dakshin upazila in Comilla.
Following primary interrogation, Sumon confessed to the killing. RAB said the incident followed a family feud.
Sumon has been handed over to the police for further legal action.
