BAGERHAT, July 12, 2025(BSS) - NCP chief organizer (Northern Region) Sarjis Alam today called upon people not to leave the street, saying the aspiration of 2024 July Uprising still remains unfulfilled.

"It is too early for us to leave the street because the ambitions, for which we took to the streets during the July Uprising, are yet to be fulfilled," Sarjis Alam said.

He made this remark during a street rally held at Foila Bazar near Rampal of Bagerhat.

Expressing determination to fight irregularities, Sarjis said the culture of extortion still exists, while barbaric killings continue amid a rise in terrorist activities across the country.

NCP member secretary Akhter Hossen also spoke at the rally and urged all to boldly confront and root out existing irregularities.
