DHAKA, July 15, 2025 (BSS) - BNP acting chairman and main patron of "Amra BNP Paribar" Tarique Rahman has stood by the families of 10 martyrs in Kurigram who were killed in the July mass uprising in 2024.

The 10 people are Shaheed Golam Rabbani, Shaheed Ashikur Rahman, Shaheed Nur Alam, Shaheed Rashedul Islam, Shaheed Raihanul Islam, Shaheed Saikat, Shaheed Md. Abdullah Al Tahir, Shaheed Kamal Ahmed Bipul, Shaheed Shafiqul Islam and Shaheed Shafiqul Islam Shafi.

On behalf of BNP acting chairman, Amra BNP Paribar chief adviser and BNP senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed officially handed over financial assistance to the martyred families at the central Eidgah Maidan ground in Kurigram district town this afternoon.

Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the convener of the organisation and a member of the BNP Media Cell, conveyed a message of sympathy to the martyred families on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

BNP's Rangpur Divisional Assistant Organizing Secretary Abdul Khalek, Adviser of Amra BNP Paribar Engineer Mostafa-e-Zaman Selim, its member secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun were present, among others, on the occasion.
