National calligraphy, graffiti exhibition inaugurated

DHAKA (North), August 23, 2025 (BSS) - The National Calligraphy and Graffiti Exhibition has been inaugurated at the National Museum in the capital's Shahbagh.


Professor Dr Anwarullah Chowdhury, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, inaugurated the exhibition at 11:00 am at the Nalinikanta Bhattasali Gallery as the chief guest.


The exhibition will continue until August 31.


Professor Dr. Abdus Sattar, former Chairman of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Dhaka, spoke on the occasion as the key speaker, while Professor Dr Nazma Khan Majlish as a special guest.


With artist Ibrahim Mondal, President of the Bangladesh Fine Arts Council, presiding, Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman Fakir and AKM Rafiqunnabi of the University of Dhaka were also present.


The Calligraphy and Graffiti Exhibition, inspired by the spirit of the July 36 revolution, is open to all.
